Terms Of Service

by purchasing a commission from me, you are agreeing to the terms of service. by violating my terms of service, you will be placed on a blacklist and will not be allowed to purchase any future commissions

General
✦ I have the right to decline any commission. Commissions are not first-come, and commissions will be taken through Google Forms. I have the right to refund/decline a commission for any reason without explanation.
✦ Contact can be made via email [email protected] or Discord.
✦ Chargebacks/violations of my T.O.S will result in an immediate blacklist.Payment
✦ Payment must be in USD through PayPal only.
✦ Payment must be paid upfront in full (I don't accept holds). Payment will be sent via invoice. Payment must be sent within 24 hours; otherwise, your commission will be declined.
✦ Prices may fluctuate depending on the character's complexity and where I see fit (More info in Prices
✦ Payment plans may be discussed for commissions over $100+. All payments must be received within their timely manner to continue the commission. If payments are not received as discussed, the commission will be declined.Ordering & Process
✦ All orders are placed through Google Forms. Please fill out the form carefully, describing exactly what you want before submitting. Please make sure you have a clear reference/depiction of your character. (Note: I do not accept written, traditional, or AI references. AI refs will result in immediate decline/refund of commission.)
✦ Please clarify what you want in your commission (poses, expressions, background, etc). If you don't have anything in mind, I will take artistic liberty.
✦ Once the character and payment have been approved, you will receive a rough sketch in which extensive changes may be requested. Smaller edits may be requested during the linework stage, before finishing up in the coloring/rendering stage, in which no further edits may be requested.
✦ Once the commission has been completed, only small revisions may be applied (e.g, mistakes, design errors, etc). Extensive edits will have a fee, depending on how big the edit is. (Changes that are not technical errors may only be requested up to 3 times; a fee is required.)Turnaround time
✦ Turnaround time may vary, typically from 1-4 months. Please note that my part-time job consumes most of my free time, so please dont rush me. Clients will be notified of any delays both privately & publically. Please do not commission me if this doesn't suit you.
✦ You may request updates after a couple of weeks have passed at least. Please do not spam or harass me for updates. I may be slow to respond, but I will get back to you as soon as possible.Refunds
✦ Full refunds are eligible before the commission has begun. A partial refund of 50% may be eligible if the commission is in the sketch stage. If the commission is past the sketch stage (i.e, linework, coloring, rendering), then no refund may be requested.
✦ Refunds may not be requested beyond that if the commission is 90% done or complete.
✦ If I cannot complete the commission, then you will receive a full refund.Copyright & Usage
✦ As the artist, I retain full copyright of my work and may use commissioned artwork for portfolios, self-promotion, examples, etc. All commissions are posted publicly on my socials. If you want your commission to be kept private, let me know in advance; it will remain public.
✦ As the client, you have the right to use the artwork for any personal use only (e.g, wallpapers, profile pictures, personal physical items, etc). You may post your commission on other social platforms, as long as full credit is provided. (Preferably a link back to my socials).
✦ You may NOT claim the product as your own, resell it for commercial use/profit (e.g, t-shirts, badges, charms, etc). Usage of my work for NFTs & AI will result in an immediate blacklist. If you are not the client, then you do not have permission or the right to my work.
✦ All commissioned artwork will be watermarked. You may NOT remove the watermark or edit it in any shape or form. Removing or editing the watermark is a violation of the Terms of Service and will get you blacklisted.

For those who don't know me, I go by Lunar (or lun for short). I'm a black queer self-taught artist/animator. Much of my art centers around the feeling of nostalgia, warmth, and everything in between. Finding comfort for the disturbed and disturbing the comforted. I strive to keep my art diverse, exploring themes that resonate with me.A lot of my interests lie heavily in nature, animals, and psychology. I like exploring the concept of human emotion and incorporating it into my world of animal people. While most of my art centers on "anthro" depictions of animals, I also draw people as well. I have many passion projects in the works for my characters, and excited to share their stories with the world.Animation has been a lifelong dream of mine to achieve, and now I finally have the means to. Expect more animated projects in the near future.

FAQ

What art programs do you use?
I use Clip Studio Paint for most of my art & animation nowadays, but occasionally I'll use Paint Tool SAI.

What are your brushes?
I tend to use a variety of different brushes. Some are custom-made, and others are from the Clip store. Brush packs I recommend from the Clip store are Artemus Pencil Brush & Luckyqilin's Oil Painting Brushpack. Don't be shy to reach out if you're curious about my brushes! I dont gatekeep lol.

Are your commissions open?
Haha. No. Okay, but for real, unfortunately, I plan to keep my commissions close or limited for the indefinite future. This being that commissions started burning & stressing me out tremendously. I currently work part-time and am looking for a full-time job, so my free time is very limited. I'd like to spend whatever free time I have on my personal art & projects. Not that I dont enjoy drawing for others, but taking commissions is a commitment. This is my plan for 2026 and the years to come. I hope you understand!
While I do appreciate those willing to commission me, I will be keeping my Ko-Fi open to tips for those who wanna support me in other ways. I may take a few comms off chance, but it'll most likely be in my Discord Server!

Do you take art trades?
Not currently, and if I did, it'll probably be between close friends or mutuals! I don't tend to do art trades anymore (it's hard to keep track and remember for me).
